Usually no. If the technician can safely access the treatment areas, service can normally be completed without anyone home. Gates should be accessible, pets should be secured, and any sensitive areas or special instructions should be noted before the visit.

Dump standing water at least weekly, check toys, planters, buckets, tarps, pool covers, birdbaths, gutters, drains, coolers, and low spots, and thin dense shade or overgrowth where practical. Even small amounts of standing water can support mosquito development.

Keep leaf litter and brush away from high-use areas, thin dense groundcover and ivy, maintain pet routes and fence lines, keep wood piles and yard debris neat, and perform regular tick checks after time near woods, brush, trails, or heavy vegetation.
